Moonbreaker is a rock band from the Hunterdon County area of New Jersey which formed in the Spring of 2015 and is made up of four members. Matt Setzer is the lead vocalist, sharing guitar duties with Will Hosey, Dallas Hosey plays the bass guitar and Brian Huggins plays the drums. The band formed from a combination of members in New Jersey tristate area bands The Day Life, We Are Castles and Dr. Hourai.
The band continues to receive positive response locally due to their high energy live performances and no frills, no nonsense approach to rock music. Their songwriting focus's mainly on strong vocal melodies and harmonies which results in an accessible, catchy sound that conveys the stories beautifully layered within their songs. Their most apparent influences range from 10cc, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Queen and David Bowie.
